Stilling Basin Construction on Jalan R.E. Martadinata Has Been Completed

North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency had completed stilling basin construction on Jalan R.E. Martadinata, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district.

Pademangan Water Resources Task Force Head, Slamet Riyanto conveyed, his side built it with size 3x4 meters and depth 1.5 meters.

"The construction has been carried out since November 25, 2021 and finished yesterday," he mentioned, Friday (12/10).

Stilling Basin is Built in RPTRA Amiterdam Area

According to him, stilling basin was built to overcome rainwater or overflowing water from tributary of Ciliwung River on Jalan Gunung Sahari.

"We are targeting the stilling basin to overcome inundation that often occurs around intersection between Jalan R.E. Martadinata and Jalan Gunung Sahari in front of Bintang Pospol, Ancol," he explained.
